About Us

Founded in 1986, Treasure Coast Cycling Association is a Florida non-profit organization, with members located in Martin, St. Lucie, and Palm Beach counties.
The Clubs primary mission is to provide an avenue for cycling education, and to promote and conduct safe organized group rides. We maintain contact with all the local bIke shops and we represent the cycling community at various municipal and county levels to ensure that infrastructure planning recognizes the growing need for providing access to safe biking passages when developing or remediating roadways.

In addition, we strive to partner with local organizations and bike shops to support the community. In 2019, our community outreach included supporting the following organizations and rides
  • The annual Ride For Heroes and the LCpl Justin Wilson – Memorial Foundation and JustingWings.org
  • The Tykes and Teens – Pedal it out ride put on by Cyclewerks and Beyond Bikes
  • The Cyclewerks Pink Ride
  • The Beyond Bikes United Way Project Ride
  • The Eagles Wings Bahamas relief effort
Our secondary mission is to build the local cycling community through Social Media and Club socials in order to expand club membership and increase the cycling community influence in the local community.

Presidents Message

Happy New Year!
As we roll into 2022 and the promises it holds we can be thankful that 2021 is behind us and wish only for our health and tailwinds ahead.

We started the year with our annual New Year’s Day ride which had beautiful weather, great rider turnout and a nice breakfast afterwards thanks to our sponsor Broadway Bagels.

We do have some upcoming rides that Team TCCA is attending. The first being the CAAM 200k in Sanford at the end of January and in March the Ride for Heroes.

We have had many enquiries into when new kit can be obtained. We are working on a new vendor to provide a better fitting kit yet able to use our current awesome design. More information will be offered when these will be available as well as the cost.

Club registration is open for 2022 and may be accomplished via the website membership link Treasure Coast Cycling Association--Membership or via the form on the same page. The $25 individual dues/$40 Family membership allows us in 2022 to offer club activities to include holiday rides, SAG and refreshments and social activities. We also use these funds to support our local charities that include but are not limited to Tykes and Teens, Ride for Heroes and so on.

I want to thank our board members, Stephen Muller, Kevin Kirwin, Fran Jenkins, Bill Eaton, Tracey MacLeod, Cheryl Barrett and Julie Price for their efforts during 2021. We faced many challenges in the past 2 years and they have always stepped up to support TCCA.

A new year is thrust upon us and we can all help make 2022 awesome! Our club relies upon your participation and support as well as those that volunteer. Helping at our organized rides, SAG stops or mentoring as ride leaders is essential to a good club as well as safe rides. We are always looking for fresh ideas, new ride options and new riders, whether young or old, novice or experienced.

Enjoy the Ride!
Tim Barrett
